Dr. John L. Martin, D.C., F.I.A.C.A., is a graduate of Texas Chiropractic College, Pasadena, Texas, Fellow of the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture and has studied acupuncture in China. He has postgraduate studies in physical modalities, orthopedics and homeopathy.

Dr. Martin is a certified Touch For Health Instructor and taught over sixty classes of Touch For Health. He also has taught Touch For Health at the University of Texas School of Nursing. He has lectured on alternative stress reduction at the Texas Medical Association’s Annual Convention in Austin, Texas. He has presented at the annual Touch For Health Convention in San Diego, California.

Dr. Martin is the past president of the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations, International College of Applied Kinesiology, Texas Chiropractic Association, Travis County Chiropractic Society, founding editor of The Journal of Chiropractic, and Co-author of Quality Control Standards for the Chiropractic Profession. Dr. Martin served on the Texas Chiropractic College Board of Regents for 9 years.

He has had 45 year’s of clinical practice.
